“What do I want to do with my life?”

I want to work for a humanitarian organization, like Amnesty International or Doctors Without Borders, or maybe take part in helping toward the United Nations millennium development goals (though perhaps a later variant of it if possible). I want to write a fictional, satirical novel (and have it published) that tackles global issues, moral principles, justice/equality, and/or human rights. I want to write, illustrate for, and publish series of children’s books that deal with those topics. I want to create conceptual art that makes a difference in the minds of the unaware, of the ignorant, of the bigoted, or simply of the unmotivated. I want to not simply just create change, but to guide it; to create a path in which it ceaselessly perseveres long after I’m dead. I want to inspire these same desires in the hearts of others. Above all else, I want to take action for a better world, and I want to believe that I am not merely bluffing - but I will act upon them, especially once I get out of school.
